Deal Me In – 2015

This year I’m joining Jay at Bibliophilopolis and Dale at Mirror with Clouds in Jay’s Deal Me In project.

The project works like this: assign a short story to each card in a standard deck of cards. Then each week, draw a card and read the corresponding short story. It’s optional to blog about the story but I’m electing to do just that.

Because my blog is about Military History, all the stories are related to the military. There were a couple of books that held a large number of stories so I picked the first 13 and am saving the rest for 2016.

Here’s my list:

  1. Dale says:

What a great list! A lot of new stories and new authors for me! I’m especially interested in the World War One stories.

  2. Jay says:

So glad you are joining us this year, Jen! I’m fairly familiar with Ambrose Bierce, but most of the rest of your stories and authors are unknown to me. I look forward to hearing about them.

Remember, posting about EVERY story is optional. Don’t let having to write a DMI post become a chore πŸ™‚

  3. Candiss says:

There are so very many stories and authors here with which I’m unfamiliar. I’m really interested to read whatever you have to say about those you are inspired to review!

Best of luck with your challenge!
